About The Healthy Rebellion

Hi there! If you don’t know me already, I’m Robb Wolf! 

This is me and my Wolf pack:

For over 20 years now, I’ve been in this health and wellness, paleo, low-carb, ancestral world...

I’m a former research biochemist. I co-founded the 1st and 4th CrossFit affiliate gyms in the world and wrote two NYT/WSJ best selling books on health and nutrition (The Paleo Solution and Wired To Eat). 

My story and passion for The Healthy Rebellion goes back almost a decade when I joined the board of directors of a medical clinic in Reno, Nevada.  Our clinic did something amazing... 

During a two year pilot study with the local Police and Fire departments, we ran a Health Risk Assessment (HRA) to find who was at high risk for type 2 diabetes and heart disease. We worked with these folks to modify their diet and lifestyle more aligned with the Ancestral Health Model.  

Through the program, the Police and Firefighters were able to stop and even reverse their potential disease states thanks to a reduction in insulin resistance and associated metabolic/health problems. These results were estimated to have saved the city more than $22 Million with a 33/1 ROI. 

This is impressive, influential stuff. And even more important— the timing is nothing if not critical. 

Westernized countries are on the path to be crippled by the costs of “managing” metabolic driven disease. 

The estimated cost of diagnosed diabetes in the US alone was $327 billion in 2017 (American Diabetes Association)—that’s up 26% from 2012.

I’ve devoted my life to bringing this Health Risk Assessment and the savings (both in human life and fiscal) to the world.
